Emergency medical technician (EMT) will respond to medical emergencies and deliver patient care, support, and evaluation in a pre-hospital setting, such as on-scene and during transport to the hospital. This generally includes assessing the patient, determining the proper emergency care, and administering treatment. The EMT will also help with transporting patients safely between hospitals and care facilities.
